What is hybrid energy system?. Hybrid energy is the combination(Solar & Wind-Belt) of a power producer and the means to store that power in an energy storage medium(battery). Hybrid systems, like the name implies, combine two or more modes of electricity generation together, usually using renewable technologies such as solar photovoltaic (PV) and wind turbines. Hybrid systems provide a high level of energy security through the mix of generation methods, and often will incorporate a storage system (battery, fuel cell) or small fossil fueled generator to ensure maximum supply reliability and security. This project that was develop to combines new power generation of wind-belt and solar PV for the consumer house hold. Energy resources is free pollution, clean and renewable source of energy. Resources electricity can produce more with hybrid system and hybrid system also able to produce a greater output voltage compare to standalone system.

 A wind belt is generally used for catering to small scale energy needs. A conventional turbine can do the same work, however the cost of establishing and maintaining a wind turbine is an expensive and cumbersome task. A wind mill also has gear boxes and other components that lead to high losses of energy due to friction. Does a wind belt is used for applications having a power need of 50 watts or less. Wind belt technology is an alternative to the costly and complex wind turbines. Instead of the conventional focus on “rotation”, this new wind-based power generator capitalizes on “vibration”, making use of a physical effect known as “Aeroelastic Flutter”. In aeroelastic flutter when air passing over a thin strip of material creates frequencies that translate into vibrations and in the wind belt case, which convert into energy. Wind belt is one such device that holds a promising future in the renewable energy market. This device converts wind energy to electrical energy by means of a stretched membrane and few magnets located within metal coils.


Result : The "Development of Hybrid Wind-Belt Generator for Commercial Usage" is to develop because it very useful for consumer especially for household.

Conclusion : This system is useful for the future. The Wind-Belt is more efficient than already wind turbine and the cost is more cheap.
